Just got back from a trip to Tennessee. We got out in my friends boat, on the Tennesse river, and tried out wake surfing. It amazes me that this is even possible. It was totally fun. No substitute for ocean waves, though. There is no substitute.
Anyway, thought I'd share a video clip with y'all.
yep, you ride pretty damn close. most of the new wakeboard boats have a big swim deck on the back - which provides a handy barrier between you and the prop. a few times, i actually got the front of the board stuck on the swim deck and was able to slide it off. like i said - i can't believe it actually works.
