The surf has been small but fun the past few days here at Tamarindo in Costa Rica. We just arrived at our hotel in Playa Guiones. According to Lonely Planet it's considered the best beach break in the central peninsula and the surf is expected to be slighty OH maƱana. Can't farkng wait to hit it. Hope the SR community is doing well and any comments about past Central American surf trips are encouraged :)

I have had a great time in Giones/Nosara every time I have been there...
The people are great.
The wave is fun... (not high performance but still a blast)
The winds kill in the middle of the day but the AM & afternoons are great!
Hit the iguana for me!!
Send pics so I can wish I was there

Keep heading south to Santa Teresa. I think waves are better there. Nosara waves tend to be real mushy in my experience.. If you can catch Santa Teresa on a Combo Swell, you will thank me later. Good Luck!

+1 better waves further south on that stretch of coast. Avellanas, Negra, S.T. etc...
