Rant - Thanks everyone: Mini-me Wetsuit

Thanks everyone here who helped along the decision process. See this post: http://stokereport.com/rant/mini-me-wetsuit

Purchased: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002X33LBC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 (Note, it runs a full-size big. The suit is excellent)

My daughter has now been in her wetsuit three times. Most recently, we went to San Diego for Memorial Day and she "surfed" Coronado beach.

As you suggest, we got a boogie board, but couldn't really tow her around (she is 1yr 7mos. old).

We ended up taking her deep into the water. I would keep her balanced on the boogie board (standing) and my brother would tow her in as a wave came. She loved it. She was very upset when she had to stop.

Thanks to the community here. Maybe I'll post a pic or video.

Best.

super great!

teaching yr kids to surf is mostly awesome. (I say "mostly" coz there's always that niggling feeling that because it's "dad's sport" they're gonna bag it in the end.

this is Roy, age 2, at Makaha

Thanks for the info / followup. I am contemplating getting my 2 year old girl onto a "board" too. As far as sizing goes, are you sayin that the size "2" here would fit a typical 3 year old?

good for you cloud...but even if the kids do endup bagging it because it's "dad's sport"...or for whatever reason...well, that's okay too, right?...can only lead them to the water, like the proverbial horse. Cute pic, love the beach attire.

For the O'Neill's my daughter is 1yr 10 mos now and a size 1 (1 year old) still has room for her to grow for another I would say 9 months at least.
