Thanks for sweeping elsewhere

A polite message from the honolua locals to Maui SUPers....of which there appear to be many. Would this work at Ft Point? Click link below to see photo

ps. Can anyone tell me offline via email how to get photos from my iPhone onto stokereport? Upload of this photo to a separate website was a hassle. Must be an easier way.

The "anti-sweeper" sentiment is so annoying. Get a life and learn how to share the sandbox with other kids.

I know you can send a photo to Twitpic along with a location code, and that will both post a report with your tweet as well as send your photo to StokeReport. Greacen discovered this a while back. I dunno with regards to rants, though. Also, I'm really hoping for Flickr support some time. Twitpic is lame and caches your Twitter password :P

@kevinw: what's your brand of SUP? Personally I like Janitor of the Sea, but am always curious what the other custodians are sweeping.

My point Kev was how remarkable that at one of the most intense high
performance waves in the world that the locals chose to self police in this manner.

I know that on tuesday when it was DOH+ it would have been a whole different (not better) scene with SUPers outside grabbing set waves.

Heh I also don't really get SUP hate (other than holyshit your board is heavy and coming right at me), but knowing KoK, he's not exactly a hater of peeps.

Mmm. Peeps.

"... learn how to share the sandbox with other kids." Thats funny because I've always looked at SUPing like my 80 year old grandma driving in her '68 ######.... shes just endangering everyone around her. But if my grandma could handle that beast I'd say more power to her.

In accordance with Tracey. Don't mind em so much really, especially if they share and stay out of the way of heads and bodies. It's a big ocean (sometimes) :) I will have to admit I've seen some that didn't share ,oblivious to the people around them, and then again I've seen them totally take advantage of the situations where NO ONE would ever get a wave on the outside anyway, and the only way to get into them was with a SUP.

As previously mentioned, I will have to admit though, as someone who rides a shortboard and not even that well, that the sign is cool, and the idea of community based policing based on ride type is even cooler.

I know for sure that KoK has a life!
But I'm not sure if KoK has a sandbox
