This vid doesn't have the names of the surfers, but Surfline's video did and plenty were from the bay area and Santa Cruz.

The wipe-out that starts at 0:45 (as I tweeted from my @oceanbeach account today) is of my good friend, an OB surfer and resident who surfs Mavs regularly and charges there. He ended up getting stuck inside for a 6-wave set after the wipe-out. While getting rag-dolled after the 2nd wave, his leash got tied around his legs and prevented him from kicking while swimming. The beatings were so brutal and long that he started getting tunnel vision from the loss of oxygen. Finally got scooped up by a lifegoard on a jetski just before getting dragged into the rocks. What a way to spend Thanksgiving.
