Why do all these beer companies insist on associating themselves with surfing?

Well I think it's because surfers drink beer...heh.

Also because brands like Zig Zag, Hvy, Roor, Graffix, and even the Vapor Rooms and Medithrives of the world haven't figured it out. TokeReport. :D

I would like to run a contest where all contestants are required to ride beersign boards borrowed or stolen from bars in the area.

Fwiw, I saw a Longboard Lager (kona brew co) in-store promo that prominently featured a surfboard with no beer logos. Just wax. I think it was a Junod. For me, that kinda worked.
