Ryan writes: As Hurricane Sandy blistered up the coast to New Jersey – making landfall in Ocean City, I cruised by the beach looking for some good vantage points, and I mostly just stared at these bomb sets rolling through while getting soaked. The cops were everywhere telling people to get off the boardwalks, go home, etc…
I didn’t see as many news crews as I thought I might, but they were cruising here and there. The storm hasn’t fully hit yet; the wind is picking up now and rattling the windows a bit. There were few trees down in my neck of the woods. I expect tomorrow’s jaunt to have a bit more destruction on display as the winds kick up substantially overnight. I’m hoping everyone stays safe and Sandy treads lighter than expected.
