Rant - This weekend?

Wise Stokers -

Thoughts on surf conditions this weekend? I have put an hour's worth of my employer's time to good use, scouring websites near and far. Consensus seems to be that this coming weekend will suck. For surfing.

Austin Gendron's (excellent) Free Surf Forecast blog advocates buying a plane ticket to Central America:

SwellInfo reports the weekend will suck overall, but perhaps good opportunity Saturday morning in Santa Cruz (nothing San Mateo-ish). But going by Surfline, it looks like Princeton Jetty might actually be reasonable for a mid/late morning session tomorrow, on the incoming tide.

Thoughts? Might just give up this weekend and hit the climbing gym instead :-(

I may hit the jetty tomorrow. Perhaps I will run into some of you all there.

The Jetty is like mom. When the rest of the world is out of sorts and overwhelming, mom is always waiting to welcome you back and give you a nice bowl of chicken soup for the soul.

1-2 feet+ Sunday night.. with up to 2+ feet on the crest....

4-5 feet in the last week

It's snowboarding time!
