Wetsuit zipper issues

One of my O'Neill wetsuits has the "code red zip" zipper coating to prevent flushing, and it does the job, but the zipper seems to stick, and is hard to move most of the time. Thus I was wondering if a silicon spray solution would loosen it up, also what else might work. No sand, dust, or dirt, and I rinse after every session.
