A bomb out the back....literally. On a more serious note, while this video is visually stunning, it pissed me off then made me sad. I can't imagine the damage this did to the surrounding sea life.

Okay, I am going to call bullshit on the 'third wave' shots. That is the only segment in slow mode, the angle is also unique, as is the depth of field. If I had to bet, I'd say that was just stock wave footage spliced in.

@greg - I think it is stock footage too. In the Gizmodo article it says the third wave covered the island and they had to climb a palm tree with all their camera equipment just to save themselves.
