somebody forgot tell somebody that sometimes wind blows onshore and sometimes sand gets picked up in that wind from the beach and might just cover those beautiful red rocks and then there precious money and free labor will all be for not.

It's part of the make jobs program. When those rocks are inevitably strewn all over the sidewalk and parking lot then the "clean up the colored rocks" crew arrives and get paid from the tax coffers (us) for their essential services. It's pure genius.

I think its more of a SWAP (sherriff work alternative program) job, not DPW or fishcop. Hmmm let's set up some hydro. The r0ckwool is underneath and those r0cks cover the root system. :D

SF on the cutting edge in so many ways, while still trying to break through to the bronze age in many others. This decision was either made while really really high, or by a Federal agency...either way it's a real loser for the users of this coastal stretch.
