Picaresque is one of my favorite surf movies. The clips on youtube and vimeo don't really do the film justice. They kind of make it seem like it's your typical "oooo isn't longboarding so pretty and mellow" movie when the finished work actually has a ton of energy, great music and some sick longboarding, single fin, and fish surfing.
I laughed and swooned watching it and was hunting down clips to share today. While I didn't find any that really gives a clear picture of the film, I did find this outtake that cracked me up.
Second wave is pretty dang funny and given our windy days this spring, I have much empathy for Harrison Roach on that wipeout.
