Woman returns to ocean after run-in with shark

1897

CARLSBAD – Bethany Edmund is easing her way back into the water, a week after she said a 6-foot shark bit her right foot and left calf near Terramar beach in Carlsbad.

Edmund, a 22-year-old nursing student from Encinitas, said she tangled with a juvenile white shark about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 25, while swimming about 300 feet offshore.

Picture taken on accident during the attack for all who dont believe it was a shark. Yes, it is blurred and not perfect, again it was taken on accident.

I'm pretty sure that was Bethany, googling her user "bethy0287" conveniently turns up a picture of her looking a good deal more attractive than Borat in a mankini. . I don't really see a shark in the picture, but I also don't doubt Bethany's word that she was attached by a shark.
