For all this huff-and-puff about Spot X, Y, #######, you name it, the surfers of SF continue to have their secret spots threatened by the most menacing of predators. The latest assault is by none other than a pet grooming company. I saw this van today and had to take a picture of the logo they have boldly emblazoned on their doors. The nerve of showing a left-breaking wave by the Golden Gate Bridge. This sets a really bad tone. The dog isn't in a wetsuit, so people might be inclined to just jump in the water thinking that it is warm or something. And he's smiling. You don't smile at certain spots. I can only imagine the hordes of people and dogs that are going to show up this season and try to steal waves now. Kooks.
