fair surfing conditions at San Francisco - Ocean Beach

" Boat somewhere with a relatively steep beach face on the beach."...Oh I know where that is, it's adjacent to ###### st. and ##### of the ######, just about ### yds ##### of #####. It's a spot I call "The ##### of the #####ng #####". Everybody knows that.

Wish I was at a spot that was "super clean".

Paddle out before the the sky starting turning pink. Dawdled on the inside for about 5 minutes & decided that the chaos & close outs didn't look nearly as fun as the longboardish outside, so paddled out there. Was all by my lonesome for a good 30 minutes, picking off a slow roller here & there until spotting @piss in the distance trying to keep the turtles in their hole... Floated w/him until the tide swamped the outside & then had a bit of a marathon paddle back to the inside where the chaos had gotten chaotic'er & the close outs closed outerer. Picked off a few of those before riding the soup kitchen line to shore.

As for the beached boat, early reports saying it was stolen? Definitely looked humorous sitting at the water's edge with its wipers on. Sure hope it was stolen & not another case of an overboard cap'n & first mate. :(

weird chunky warbly side current thing going on ###### in front of the old bleachers. Decent sized sets every 15 minutes or so plus lots and lots of white water on the inside. at some point I got caught in a fast rip and ended up way far outside. kinda spooked me being that far out to sea

mids had more size, so there I went. Overhead doubleups with lots of current to keep things interesting. Looks like the window is semi-open.
