Started at Co####s early this am and got a bunch of 2' waves before the spring break surf classes and kiddos covered the entirety of the cove. Then paddled over to Steamer and got a few more waves before calling it. Typical south swell with a good wait between sets, but there's definitely fun to be had!
Not too shabby out there this am. Mellow, little breezy, but fun. Major surf school crowding, but snuck in a few long ones. After moving on, some fun drops and lots of waiting. Starting to get that slow summer vibe. All I needed to complete the picture was a beer on the beach and some time in that warm morning sun.
made the drive myself, today. long waits, which meant that the same five guys at the peak got most of the waves (they deserved them). picked off a few insiders that got away.
beautiful day our there. and i have to say ... HOLY S#*t! What an easy paddle. my fingers could do it without my arms!
