Passed on the z00. n0rth was looking better.
Small fun surf, onshore winds, hella fog, warm water.
6-7 others in the water. Winds oddly seemed to lighten up as I had to leave for work.
Afterwards, back in the \/FW lot,
it looked like some angry thugs about to get into it.
In case you thugs read the stokereport, watch this video, it should sooth you.
Mebbe the thugs were lost. I hear the air is more calming one parking lot to the north.
As for the surf, here's my report from Tuesday. Conditions remain Groundhog Day'esque similar: "Still knee high to a grasshopper at SFOB, but w/a log & a zen mood, fun is possible. Waves too small to be junked by S winds."
I saw a wave, this was actually the better of several, was cleanish. Actually passed the two guys making wild gesticulations in the lot heading south as well. Hopefully the surf picks up soon.
Haha... If I'm seeing that correctly, I remember that wave. Angry Guy taking it right, Conscious Pilot taking it left, me way down the line, pissed that CP picked up the wave, thus keeping me off it. And, I think that's Pickle trying to get out of AG's way. Yup, that was the wave of the day, at least for CP.
That's a cool shot. I must have just missed you guys. I was kooking out a bit n0rth of that crew.
We wuz making the best of it. I think Frank is the poster boy for this frame of mind: he's out on 3x days and on dribblers like today. No wave is too big or too small.
Very fun before 10. Nothing great but high wave count considering it is august.
Splashed around a bit at 5 pm. Very clear water and we were joined by a seal. I don't have much to say about the waves.
