Waist to HH on the sets, and but still a bit weak and crumbly. Surfable on the log, and some making a go of it on shortboards. Size picking up a bit but shape definitely lacking.... Worth my paddle but only just... Lower tide may help. Sideshore winds giving it some lump.

Pretty much found the same thing. Once and awhile a gift would roll through, but not too incredibly exciting. Basically, a waddle out where I was.
I might not have gone out if I could have seen the waves from the parking lot, but I ended up having a decent time
Plus bon que rien. I had fun today even if the conditions weren't optimal. Waves came, boards glided. It counts. Wonder what future gull says about later :)
Had some fun yesterday evening on my new boogie. Reforms were actually somewhat hollow.
Fair-minus? A guy in the lot asked me how it was; I said: "Shitty. Also...kinda good." I had fun.
regarding my 'rating', I try to actually rate the quality of the surf, which can be totally different from how much fun I had. So for instance, today: surf rating - poor. my personal fun rating - fair, maybe fair + cause of the company. But after much consideration, I don't think it's ok to say that the surf is Fair, when really, it isn't... Of course, all the subjectivity is what makes SR fun to start with :-)
It was interesting. Made it outside fairly easily and was treated to a bunch of nice, soft rollers. Straight-up grab the box of tissues and turn on Oxygen™ kinda shit. Loved it.
Then I got cleaned up out of nowhere and discovered that the inner bar had turned into this jacked-up machine, and all these rippers had shown up (seemingly out of nowhere) and were busting airs.
Then all the surfers seemed to disappear, the waves got shitty, and we went home. Good times!
Holy dolphins batman. I dont think I've ever seen that many at once. They only dropped in on me one time.
