We had intermittent shoulder to head high waves on the sets. A little lumpy and windy but still super fun session. Conditions are nothing to write home about but some more energy in the water was MUCH welcome!

In some cultures, the camel is considered a good luck charm, a positive omen of sorts... When I saw the below as I pulled on to Great Highway, I knew expectations were going to be exceeded. Although the surf along the Beach looked pretty marginal, I had my camel good luck charm. Expectations were definitely exceeded. Chest-shoulder high waves with decent energy, especially when they hit the inner bar. Tons of waves, lots of faces, lots of fun drops.

Stoked! Surf!

It was foggy and cool this morning.. get that camel some UGGs

Hey just had an idea...I think they're making a childrens book or something...that's why all the barnyard life at the beach. My guess is the camel got lost...so maybe it will try and ask a plover for its way home?
