I had to sit out the last 3 days, so I don't know if it's as good, but it sure is fun out there. Boards of all shapes and sizes collecting at the appropriate waves. Some snappy spots and some flabby spots. You might need more foam, or maybe less depending on where you sit and what you want. Giving it a Good minus, but secretly, I thought it was a Good, for my taste, but don't tell anyone.
Yes, it was the good stuff. Little packed, but everyone was getting their share. The teenage dolphins were on patrol, and obviously truant. Saw a few flips in there and one guy got right up in my kitchen with a jump :) HELLO!
I wonder with the swell building later in the day along with the tide dropping out in the evening, there might be an excuse to double dip. Plus having the sun out is another motivator.

chest high and glassy, with a bit of reverb on it. first wave of the day made my session, a nice long dropknee on a peeling bowl. got some fun prone cutties after that, and had to hustle off to work. cya this afternoon!

passed by last night and yeah....too bad I just passed by. Looked solid as F out there. Double dippers, have yourself a time and think of us in the cubes :)
1 Didn't check anything before I put the homemade red fish in the car...wrong board as it turned out.
2 Did remember the replacement ear plugs for the ones I lost during the south swell two weeks back.
3 Dolphins leaping out the back of wave in the semi dark = yay!
4 Dozen waves or so, two good ones.

Fun. Giving it a good because I caught more than a handful of super peely, fast fun, drop knee lefts, the vibe was positive and the crowd was minimal. A pod of 10+ dolphins came by...just cruising parallel to the shore...then the last three peel off the back and snag a sweet peak 20 yards out...I'm watching em ride the wave when one veers right and swims full speed ahead DIRECTLY under my board with a big shitty ass grin on his face. I'm surprised he didn't bump into my leg he was so damn close! With enough verve, I could have grabbed his/her dorsal fin and claimed myself a Sea World moment!
I love the fog :) Probably moreso than this freaky daystar in the sky thing.
Agree on the Good. 5 hour session with fun chest high clean glassy lefts. Got cramp in both arms and called it a day. Seems to be improving.
Bring on the Fall....
Fun times out there from noon til' 2:30ish. It was definitely going larger than chest high where I was. Started on a slamming inner bar that offered up a super fun multi-schwackable right, a quick drop to barrel closeout, a couple short lefts, and one kookish pitching over the top due to hesitation. The closeout/sectiony ratio eventually made me paddle in, walk up the beach, and reassign myself to more open and more inviting outer bar that was generally HH with a few random HH+ sets. Got a couple fun ones there and headed in when things started slowing down and getting textured. The cams look as though it's now deteriorated further. It was good while it lasted. For those of you that are ready to fuck with D.O.H. OB I wish you the best of luck for Thursday and Friday. I'll probably be looking into something a bit more tame. @OB-Brit, big ups for going back out the day after possibly getting stalked by a morbidly obese Cadillac-sized sea lady with a hankering for some human gravy. Glad you didn't have another run in.

Glad it kept working all day. I think every surfer in SF was out there this evening. Still enough waves to go around though. Crazy how fast the fog pulled in.
