I'm calling it good down on the big end. SH to start but as tide filled in around 8 it was getting to be HH+. Clean, glassy, good push, beautiful out, just all arous FUN. Go get some before the tide fills in!
True that, hit dawn south of the ######, fun, had to leave at 845, and it was looking good still.
It was little like a WCT qualifying round in front of the tents, but fun.
They just closed down the great highway below Uncle Abe. Can you believe that, for a frickin Sunday run? Plus the trash areas were a pigsty this morning - another thing the event organizers aren't handling well. Why don't they hold the event any time but prime fall, or at least set their shit up and take it down day of?
It was beautiful just south of the city. Glassy, chest-to-head, nice shoulders. I had a great time from 7-8:30.
