It was pretty meager out there around sunset. I'd call it around waist to shoulder high. There were a few little corners to be had, but mostly soft chop n' slop.

Heh I enjoyed myself...
I had some long rides. Just cruise/slide cruisin. Sometimes when that board that you rarely ride is calling, you just gotta listen...
I know I'm a bit stony but forgive me it's sunday.

fun times before lunch in the sunshine. even with the high tide there was plenty of shape on the sets and enough time between sets to make the paddle back out.

I was out around the same time but at a different part of the beach (gee, hope that's not too obvious). The waves were pretty big and occasionally head and half high. Things were jumbled at the start but cleaned up as the tide turned and I didn't want to get out. Nice day at OB after all and we had it all to ourselves. Not a single other surfer was visible for two hours. Stoked.

was out from 3 - 5. started off in the CH - SH range. then at about 3:45 or so the swell jacked up. 6 - 8 on the biggest set waves. it got good and it got crowded. i managed to pick off a few sweet rights and lefts without running over anyone. turned out to be a good session. stoked!

Paddled out at 4pm for a sunset session and it just got better and better. The crowds picked up, but there was enough to go around for everyone. About 3-4ft, and caught both lefts and rights to the inside section. Paddle out was easy peasy.
