great surfing conditions at San Mateo - Linda Mar

saw this at 6:30 am and also a bit last night!

Yes, actually we passed it by and we both looked at each other saying 'damn....huh.' :D Still had fun elsewhere.

Nice pic. Yea, still stoked from this morning. Everyone kept it mellow even in the tight pack. Lefts and rights for all.

Yup, did look surprisingly unLindy-like. Elsewhere was cold as balls but fun. Every once in a while you found yourself on a wave that lined up like a point break. Most of the rest were closeouts, though. Sneaky ducks in the lineup.

Surfed it out of desperation under south winds tonight after work. Probably would have been kinda fun on something pretty foamy, but it barely floated what I had in the trunk. Super small, but yeah, I suppose the shape was clean for Linda.

very cold for water that looked like it was from hawaii but still beautiful. waves were small but big enough for a ride. the shape was really really surprising it was breaking perfectly yet surfline called it poor to fair. the waves were bouncy when they came to you so youd have to judge it better. but the bounce was allowing me to catch more waves than others cause it would fake out others into thinking it didnt have enough height. until they started to catch on(where and when to paddle)
