Beautiful morning. CH+ on the small end. Opted not to sit in the pack for the steep and fast inside; found my own roller coaster near a rip. Plenty of waves, plenty of stoke and plenty of sunshine.
Best goddayum morning in MONTHS. Dare I say, a taste of winter. Tons of waves with nice shoulders. Super duper stokola.
I found that the combo swell left it a bit mixed up, but there was no wind & the HH+ glassy waves were really fun. Also noted: whales (2nd day in a row) & sun & warmth. #stoked
Got in at first light and played on the inside section, then around 8 the outer bar woke up and hoo boy that was fun. Everyone out was super stoked, I think it was the sun, that thing does strange things to people out here.
Stop it, dicks. I keep seeing this at work every morning and expectedly, by the time I'm off at 3:30, shit's blown. I've been resorting to Linda out of sheer desperation.

@hurrianewe - get up at 5:45 like I did this morning...I got tired of reading about everybodys dawn patrol stoke and got up early to get mine. So worth it!
hurricanewe, keep in mind that this is stokereport and they tend to subjectivey exaggerate conditions. It was good from afar, but far from "Good-". If we're on the winter scale, that was a poor+ day. Since it's summer and the waves always suck, it was probably a solid Fair. The waves didn't have much of a wall to them. They'd do that thing where they break for about 30 yards and then flatten out.
JLW. Simply not true. I'm sorry, but where I was, at the time I was there, was good-. Hmmm... I just realized I am arguing one notch up... I had the best day in at least 2 months.
