A bunch of us scoured the coastline this morning. Generally looked like shit everywhere as far as I could tell. However, our two groups independently found some decently surfable nuggets. Nugget 1 was (I believe) surprisingly well formed chest high at OB. Surprisingly because it really looked crappy most places.
Nugget 2 was points south where the swell was amplified into HH+ lumpy energy burgers. We drove around a bit more than I would have liked but were rewarded in the end with not so much great surf as fun-ish surf with some energy on a piss poor day. Actually pretty stoked in the end.
Lesson from this morning was surfing = looking around
