This morning, after one navigated the orange cone golf barricade and then was waved away from the beach by the intersection cop, the first place available place to park and check turned out to be head high peaky fun. Looked like the only place on the beach with people surfing. Pretty fun but a 3 week layoff noodles up the arms pretty quickly.
Pretty fun out there. I did a lot of searching too...I call today personal peak day as it wasnt too organized, but there were popper upper surprisers :)
No organization to it at all but I got lucky with one. Other than that...not so much.
I saw a lot of great rides. Unfortunately after a 20 minute paddle my arms were toast. Great to be out though.
For mine own part, it was the best conditions I've seen all spring. Says not much at all (objectively, conditions weren't very organized), but there was good energy, and as @piss said, there seemed to be personal peaks that would roll through with some regularity. I had a ball.
