fair surfing conditions at San Mateo - Linda Mar

Just checked the surfline cam (since I woke up late) and it is JAM PACKED out there. Must be 100 surfers in the water. Gonna try later in the afternoon and hope it gets a little less crowded.

allow me to save you gas. the kite boarders were out when i paddled in. stiff cross/on-shores made taking off a blind mans affair & combined that with chop on the face = no bueno

Went down this afternoon (got stuck in golf traffic so it was later than I had planned *grrr*). The wind was epic, my board got blown up off the top of waves a few times which was a first for me, but kite boarders and wind surfers were having a blast. I caught a few good ones and had a blast paddling around, but I'm usually just happy to be out in the water so I may not be the best judge :)
