surfing conditions at San Francisco - Ocean Beach

Yup. Had a peak to myself and picking off all choice sets when two SUKs came out of nowhere and tried to take over. Lucky for me they were gone after 15 minutes. I bet they had a parade float that they had to be at.

Made the right call this morning and busted out the longboard. Another dude who normally shortboards decided to bring out some foam with him today...we traded waves all morning...stoked! Started getting pretty crowded around 8:30...all kinds of landmines on the inside to dodge.

Really nice morning from 6-8. Low tide allowed me to walk halfway to the peaks, and the short paddle seemed like it only to 2 minutes to reach the lineup. 3-4 easy rollers...then a few cleanup sets at what seemed like 6'. North current took me from south ###### clear past BC and the north ######. Long walk back, but easy pickins today.

I concur with the report except for the sexiness part. what peak were you on? Just old farts around my zip code...

great vibe out where I was at. those occasional plus size sets were so hard to wait for but when they came through they were breaking so niiiiccce and staying open for super fun rides. what a great day. stoked. I know there has been a lil drought on the wave front (at least for a lot of folks), so be nice and try to be friendly.

Why are we insulting each other on the Internet? Do we all live in mom's basement? How was the SR picnic? I think last year it was in August. Maybe pride day got in the way? I dunno, I don't care, I just have questions. I'm also cooking chicken, so I gotta go.

@piss_shiver: Yea man, your intuition led you in the right direction. How about that sea lion getting a little too close for comfort? At one point, he was only about 4 feet from us...popped his head up right before a set came through...felt like he was going to gnaw on my feet while I was paddling into one. Forecast for the week looks small...green machine may have a repeat appearance!

Yeah, that sea lion must have been hungry and curious after all the barking and bellowing on the rocks. It's an odd feeling, that produces the same internal "dun dun"'s when they're around :)
