Wednesday 4pm - San Mateo - Linda Mar, good surfing

out from 10:00 to 12:00. fun sets, with a nice right breaking consistently. a few overhead bombies coming through as well, with some awesome cleanup sets going a couple feet overhead that - surprise - actually peeled right. ducked one in time to look down the maw of an open barrel pitching over the rip channel on one side and a clean open shoulder on the other. great day, nice weather, and good surf. beats a poke in the eye!

The crowds take the session itself down to a "fair," but the waves were actually, legitimately good.

Crowded for sure. Sitting on the inside was like staring down a firing squad. Nice weather, some waves holding up in the wind, and plenty fun seeing folks I haven't seen in a while. Fair+

I concur. Fun in the sun, avoid all stationary objects if possible, strong wind spray in the eyes and how about those large bomb sets!...like big brooms.

Hm, I wonder if I was a little too late and picked the wrong part of the beach.

Sun, wind spray, clean up broom sets yes. Breaking consistently-more like closing out consistently. Good to be in the water anyways. Happy 4th!

As someone who surfs Lindy often and doesn't hate it, Defiantly Fair is indeed a perfect description. You show 'em, Lindy! Show the haters how kinda okay you can be!
