crazy. i surfed pp yest morning and it was beautiful and a south swell came in last night. i bet its nice to have it less crowded there. can white sharks attack in kelp beds?

Heard about it. Crazy. On this article below it says it's about 40 feet outside from the kelp bed. Usually sharks can't swim through kelps. But good times.

I was out in those parts this morn at that time. Fog was really thick. Did not see any of this incident. There were loads of fishing boats out so the food chain-web was at work big fish looking for smaller fish. Waves were pretty fun-Kelp was terribly thick. I missed a handful of waves by getting caught up in it, its had a few weeks to grow unstunted by swell and the low tide had it laying out thick. I've heard that its just a myth that sharks can't swim through the kelp- I suppose it depends on a few things.
