Tuesday 10am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, fair surfing

Mixed bag this morning. Brought a friend here for his first surf in a long while and we witnessed the major books of the Encyclopedia Linda Mar-ica: Fog, Closeouts, Chunks of something in the water, Clean peeling rights, Steep speedy lefts, Wildlife, Crowds, Solitude.... Pretty fun overall.

The wind came up, went sideshore, tide dropped, and we split.

Better than expected, but plenty not great thrown in there too. My first wave was a long, smooth right but all the rest were drop and wash into the shallows. Friendly folks and a few waves out there. I'm leaning more towards fair-

Yesssss... the log worked well today. That might be part of my bias. My bias is the other part.
