Thursday 2pm - Marin - Bolinas, poor+ surfing
Best laid plans for surfing today were gone this morning.
Arrived as the few dawn patrollers were leaving, and saw nothing but a glassy rock exposed area to the right, and a sucking tide to the left that was best for the surf schools that would be gearing up later on for their white water lessons.
However I did suit up, if not just to get some exercise. Rode a few knee slappers for about 90 minutes before it was time to just sit on the beach and relax. Nice. No traffic noises, just me and a few seals in the channel popping their heads up occasionally to look around.
Nice ride out and back though. Always love that country ride to the beach.
