On the Mexico end from Noon to 2pm - Sunny, with the fog rolling over the hill from Devil's slide. The wind was howling out of the s0uth, but there wasn't much chop.. Loonnngg waits... When the sets came through (sometimes just one-wave "sets"), they were small and gutless - but there were some rides to be had for those with enough foam. Nice to get out there nonetheless.
Stoker, hit it yesterday @4:20pm -6:30pm, not to choppy and nice sets, sunny,had a pre beer and post beer and then watched the giants win! aka perfect day
I was out at the same time but probably not the same peak. It was better the first hour and lost most of any shape it had toward 2. Sailboarder had a few nice runs with those strong side shores. I was glad I went since I debated whether to even check it, got a few fun ones. Surfing in those winds made it feel like a different climate- water and air fairly warm. I'm not used to it being warm and windy.
Ah yes, I saw that windsurfer. If you were near that guy, you were way n0rth of me. Maybe I'd have had better luck up there, I was just discouraged by the wind and figured it would be more sheltered down where I was.
