Yeah... not so hot. Mixed up, lumpy. Plenty of seaweed salad on the inside. Couple of fun rides. The wind went sideshore and then all bets were off. The crowd rocking the beach wasn't too big.
observed: a crab that was bigger than a fritter.
also observed: something big and splashy waaaaay outside.
also also observed: rainbow!
I observed that crab twice. Once as he was nipping at my toes on my way out and then at the end of my session while bellying one on. He threw me a crabby shaka to say thanks for not stepping on him.
Got one fun wave and the rest was drop and wash.

At least the sun came out this morning. Didn't see the crab though, I feel robbed.
No crab here, but some fun ones when the tide filled in a bit. Also, definitely dirty water, solid mix of plastic bags and other detritus. Managed to snag a couple pieces, didn't seem to change much. Eesh.
I saw a few folks carrying pieces of plastic off the beach this am. Every little bit helps...
Anyone know what the cones were for this am? I couldn't tell what those folks were doing.
It's a school project , I let them use a bucket for water a month ago, the are making the tides with little flags,,,,,we should have a SR beach clean monthly or bi weekly
