Sunny, sometimes glassy, a little bit o' push... what's not to like? Sure there were a few dumping close-out sets... sure there was a little traffic there on the inside. I had fun. Would do it again.

LM is much more enjoyable when the sun zaps you right in the eyes - if you can't see the scrambling barneys in front of you, they're not there, right? Plus, low sun angle = the approach of fall, which seemed like it would never, ever get here. I'm even almost happy to dust off the familiar refrain, "It looked like it was getting better when I left." #stokereported.

Yay! Nice to come home to fun, fair waves after a few weeks of travel. Sure, there were plenty of those familiar mush bombs and close outs, but friendly folks and sunshine (and those one or two fun waves that held up) made it a lovely morning.
Did anybody smell that last night? I swear, it was the smell of Fall. It has a distinct fragrance to it. Tick tock...tick tock....

You miss it UF,, this 70 year old pervert rolled up in a new benz with a 20 year old russian model,then she took her dress of and ran around in a bikini while old man snapped photos of her! I snapped some pics of the perv and babe on my brothers camera and didnt tell him:)

Second report: 11am-2:30pm on the semi wind sheltered end.. Got a workout trying to paddle into countless waves that were mushed out by the rising tide, but a few worked out and were kinda fun. Started out very crowded early, but that crowd thinned out by early afternoon, thankfully.
Observed: A girl who frequents LM on a massive pink board, known for her attitude, bitching out yet another poor sucker who must have dropped in on her. Good vibes... Did I mention the crowd thinned out later? ;)
It was nice meeting some of you in the lot yesterday morning. Now that my Internet stalking is out of the closet I hope to see you in the lineup. Definite fun ones out there. Mostly closeouts but I lucked into a few open sections to keep me grinning all day.
I love pink board girl and I love getting bitched out by her. An earful of her, is just as good as Donut Time, across the street. Often, I take indulgence in getting a good berating from her, cross the street and then eat a dozen donuts, in this style here:
