Surfed the north side of the beach from 11:30 -1. Lots of heads on the water. But with 3-5ft sets coming in every 5 or so minutes it was an easy paddle out and some corners to be had. Wind was calm and the sun was out. Great way to spend a Monday.
true - i surfed both OB and lindy today and thought lindy was better, with one important exception: dealing with the linda mar dick-wheels. seriously, what is it about a shoulder high day at linda mar that brings out these fucking dick-wheels and their shit-talking attitudes? One thing I never understood is where these low-lifes come from, or why they think they are entitled to fuck with other people. Every single time I have some fruit loop show up in the water and talk shit, they have always looked to me like a small, bug-eyed, filthy maggot. Jesus H Christ, I do believe these fuck-wits must spontaneously generate on the linda mar bathroom floors. Otherwise, Lindy was beautiful out - sun, decent waves, and *most* people with a sunny attitude. well, se la vie! I'm glad I have enough sense to have a good attitude anyway!!

Amen, Sparky. You just summed it up. There are a few small groups of "locals" that I've noticed lately with more attitude than an entitled, burnt out Santa Cruzer on a bad day. It's been worse than ever lately. Maybe it's the summer wave starvation or the seemingly record crowds this summer. I mean, it's been packed on some of the shittiest days. I guess I can understand some of the frustration, but the excessive attitude - especially when the waves are mediocre - that just kills it for me.

Beautiful and sunny out today. Great way to spend a relaxing day-got some ok waves. I must have had the happy bubble around me as people seemed super friendly despite the formidable crowds.
The whole concept of territorial locals at Lindamar can be equated to a pack of flies hovering over a pile of shit.
Im new to surfing and I always surf lindy... Ive never had any problems. Everyone is cool to me and my bros who are also new, its probly cause if someone did mess with us .... we will FUCK them up.I guess its a respect thing.
