Friday 9am - San Francisco - Ocean Beach, fair surfing

September is so lovely! The waves were friendly and not wintery yet with a few waves in the shoulder to head range. The skies were blue, no wind, and lots of dolphins and a few sea lions. I tried to catch a wave with two dolphins on each side of me but I rolled off the back and they all party-waved without me! Other than getting ditched by those guys, I had a nice morning! The lot was closed but the showers were still working.

I had a perfectly cromulent time. Some surface texture, some small softies, some medium sized closeouts & dredges, and even an occasional finely formed hollow face. Sufficiently stoked.

Observed: Pedro Point way on down the coast thanks to the crystal clear morn. Saw OLB regulatin'.
