self selects indeed. i think the number of people who can surf double overhead plus waves is pretty small and watching those who cant paddle out or who make into the lineup and get destroyed is entertaining.
@cyrus, it's only the second full day of autumn, better to get the tradition out of the way now and early during a mediocre mid-size swell...or quick, start a diversion thread. A little T&A has always proven to be a winner.
I really liked the So#th side of Ocean Beach yesterday. It was great! Glassy with DOH barrels.
It was real nice near paDhec0 and lots of guys out.
K3IIy2 C0^3 was real good as usual. I like big surf and to paddle. It makes me feel like a man. I am a man. I surf K3IIy2 C0^3.
People don't know this but sometimes it good at Kirkjam but my favorite secret spot is Santi0g0, SI0at and Sums3t.
Sometimes near the Z000 is also where I surf.

Speaking of not so secret spots, I've been meaning to post this picture I shot in the past week, of a rarely surfed local wave. I watched it for a while, and the break was very consistent. Those little specks are two bodyboarders. *This photo is for novelty purposes only - if you paddle out there and die, it's not my fault.

Ya bro – I pulled into the handicapped space (no such thing as a handicapped local) to check the olas at the Beach. I was late because I had to throw some extra bro’ster dirt on my truck. I also stopped off to pick up a new NorCal sticker cause my last one blew off my truck when I pealed out yesterday bro.
The waves were firing – waist high NorCal-style. Had a Core session. Pulled into a tube together with my local bro’sters; Marklar, fin and Overit. We ended the sess with a circle jerk. Core

There should be an addition to the community standards... no more bitching back & forth about locations. It is extremely old and tired. I thought the voting up or down was supposed to be enough to regulate this site. If you think there's a violation, just vote it down and move on. That's what the thumbs are for, right?
