These are the days I am truly Grateful to live in San Francisco. Enjoyed both sunrise and sunset in pristine weather at Ocean Beach. Water was fairly warm, conditions were good, and wave count was high. Even got to share it with about 50 of my closest friends tonight.
And just like that, at the beginning of October, as always, OB turned on, and everything was just right.
I also did the double today. Cut out of work a bit early and got about 2 hours in this evening. Tons of fun. The weather was so good, I actually didn't mind how crowded it was.
Wetsuit left in parkng at OB. Describe it and location where you left and you will be reunited.
I also enjoyed a double today. However, the sunset session was markedly less quality than the morning. I would rate the a.m. good and the sunset fair+. Still stoked. Warm, sunny, easy paddle, plenty of waves. What's to complain about?
funny, i thought it was better this evening than at sunrise. sunrise was a bit fatter but still fun. tonight there were some nuggets, though toward dark it definitely deteriorated.
I was still super busy at work right at 5:00 and I looked at the cams, said fuck it, and peaced out.
My am sesh was actually mid-morning. So apparently that was the call. However, @tail block has it right. Floating in the Pacific Ocean watching the sun set is hard to beat. Waves or no waves.
Ha, "my loser ass"...yes, I guess so! @ufo, isn't that the defi of insanity? Doing the same thing over and expecting different results? Bummer you couldn't even make it a "third time charmer". Shoulda hit the hardwood lanes....always consistent conditions:)

@ sharkturd- didn't want to be a one upper. but yeah...im a loser for sure. tripled dipped :) still say it sucked out there, though. all the sun i could eat. eyes are burnt. if only i was as passionate about bowling...i'd be scoring 300. got a 211 once.
I too played in the plate glass sunsetness. waves were soft, but went for ages if you could thrust your way onto the face. got a couple long rides that were just mellow and irie.
It was way cool. Enjoyed a few smackdowns after getting forced into pigdog position!
