Road closures from the Nike Women's Marathon made it interesting this morning...assisted with the crowd factor where I was but had to deal with hearing some Lady Gaga song on repeat...fucked with my stoke barometer. Initially, looked kinda small from the shore so I brought something with more float...tough paddle out due to no duck dive...but well worth it once I got outside. Appreciated the extra foam...needed it to get into some of those bombs. Clean and fast...plenty of closeouts but the good waves more than made up for it. Stoked.
