Fast, hollow, breaking close to shore and a couple of feet overhead on the N end. The ###### was bigger and a tougher paddle. Here are a couple of pics from in front of the ######.
nice pics- I paddled out at ###### and there were some clean faces and solid sets. got worked hard a few times, but scored some good rides. i was surprised not to see anyone else in the water.
let me know if you get a sinus infection. water looks kinda nasty from the first rains.

@bag of toys: it's a bit of both. the waves were breaking close to shore on the ######, combined with the zoom lens i was using, makes it look like they are riding the shore break.
no signs of sinus infection yet ;) i always just make sure to shower off immediately after surfing when it's rained. pick up a pair of noseplugs and get out there! haha. and regarding how close to shore it's breaking, I think this swell has moved a lot of sand around, the waves are breaking much closer to shore at the ###### of the beach, making for a much more manageable paddle out
