good surfing conditions at San Francisco - Ocean Beach

Is it stretch to say it's slightly ironic to post a report describing the good conditions at a certain time, and at a certain specific location no less, then complaining about the crowds? Of course, it's clear you were joking about the crowd problem, but there is something in the irony of this post that struck me as perhaps meaningful. Aren't we're supposed to carry on the traditional stereotypes of mean, aggressive, local surfers to prevent overcrowding? Maybe for week we can all post about how many kooks we beat up and tires we slashed and see if the surf gets less crowded. Damn interwebs and all these positive vibes! Mostly playing devil's advocate here, but I just couldn't let the insta crowd post die.
