That bottom pic is ridonculous. Wow, that's a beast. I would have to say that's about the biggest wave I've ever seen ridden at OB. What is that...a 20+foot face?

I use a Canon 5D with a 100-400mm lens. But today I was using my 1.4X converter for it, which means I was doing manual focus the whole time. Top picture was just a tad out of focus. I will be posting more big waves from today on my Flickr account later tonight or tomorrow morning.

That looks pretty heavy, right on. I think today was a day where California surfers were able to measure themselves against the sea. And realize we are pretty darn insignificant.
