Holy crap, I'm crying laughing at my desk. Such a frickin' good description of our sesh. What actually sent us in, what @crypto didn't see, was another of those 15' mackers that landed right in front of us. Full on bear hug of board & nut clutch. Once that one passed, I was happy it was time to go to work.

So yeah, big & powerful, but as we changed in the parking lot, there were two guys that had paddled out on full guns that were scoring big, beautiful waves. Good on 'em, whoever they were. If you've got the balls & the board, it's a nice day out there.

haha KoK I think the only pictures/movies of me today were me hugging clams :) hahaha
Thanks senior surf bus! Hopefully more to come. It's getting bucked off the bull that always is the best story. Catching one of those with glory would be nice, but it's not as deep and meaningful as a love story with clams :)

2:30 OB ######, doable paddle, 10 - 12 feet i'd say. Really strong offshores making it very difficult to get in to waves. Freight train current headed north. have fun out there. I had a tough time paddling out but others made it easily.

Wow. That was very entertaining. Glad you guys made it out in one piece. Make me wish I wasn't tethered to my office all day....sorta.

crazy journey.... was at ###### about 3pm today just for a look. Pretty big but strange that it was not that good. Big lumbering waves with not very rideable shoulders. Definitely hard to pick off. Witnessed a couple of guys try to paddle out only to be denied on the relentless outside. Watched for a half hour. Not one wave ridden. Cool to watch though.
