Surfed Linda Mar today from 12-1.30pm. Does that place ever hold above 3 feet??? It was close out city. I saw a few guys getting more than just the drop...but very few. Water was very nice though. Smooth and clear....but damn those closeouts.

I've always thought the same thing re: Lindi & closeouts, but this weekend proved me wrong. Tons of head high lefts & rights that held up quite nicely. Was the best I'd ever seen Lindi, though. Normally, it does seem to close out pretty uniformly any time it gets over about chest high.

Usually when their's closeouts I just go back in my car and check the other side of the hill or go home. :) Actually depends on how desperate I am....... :)

Was in from 3:30 to 4:30 at ######. Definitely not big sections but enough to make a few turns. Size was bigger than expected, sets coming in HH+. Quite a few people in the water north of ######. Had some fun rides where I was, good times.

I second @sticker. This past Fri-Sun was pretty awesome for LM. The great waves plus the sun finally coming out of hiding almost made it feel like I was some place else. But the crowds reminded me otherwise. Still a great time.

It does hold at waist-shoulder++ but not so much on direct Wests it seems like. With the Nino bringing tons of direct west energy this year, tons of closeouts.
