Thursday 10am - San Mateo - Linda Mar, poor surfing
Grabbed a get-wet session at Linda Mar this morning. Not a whole lot going on at low tide. No pre-storm swell at this point. Steely-grey water, mostly closed out on the north side of the beach. A few short hops to steal here and there. Very small crowd.
At one point I thought I saw a big cloud of green smoke rise from the eucalyptus stand where pch heads up toward devils slide. Anyone else see this? Maybe it was some sinus-pressure induced hallucination.
