Nice waves at SFOB if you make it out & don't bring the wrong board. 1.5x+. Outer bar glassy but unorg'd. Right place right time to score.

There's only one king of ###### today, and it's sticker.
Four to five dudes had their shot, all taken blows by the king's scepter of denial.

Oh also, of note, I saw lee ski/surf a mogul on the cookie monster.
sticker saw it too, and we both laughed our assess off in the lot :)

crypto: saw a promo advert on cartoon network with pigs eating birthday cake and going "nom nom nom". Made me think of inner bar OB thanks to you.

Heh, I would say that the only thing I might be worthy of being King of is Kooks, but that title is already very capably filled, and besides, with my performance today, I'm really not worthy of being king of anything.... Maybe a swimming pool filled with octogenarian SUP'ers.

So, full disclosure: Got a really, really nice (lucky!) duck dive on one of those inner bar cookie monsters & slipped under the lips of the next 2 to make it to the outside. The really outside. Then spent some time getting back to the take-off zone. Chased a lot of waves but was under-boarded (or weak... Was on a 6'6" thruster & would've preferred my 7'2" mini) & got nothing. Actually ran from more waves than I chased. Couldn't even find a mogully-mogul to ride on the inner bar (like @lee) on my way back in. So, I made it on the field but struck out. :( There were some beautiful waves out there, though. If I had made some of the ones I chased or turned for some of them I avoided, I'd be shit-eatin' grinnin' at my desk right now.

Yeah was mental this morning. Did anyone else apart from King Sticker make it out? Duckdive? I made it past the inner bar easily (perhaps just luck, I'm not sure good or bad), but then was stuck in a vortex for about 45 minutes. Every lull I'd get within 20-50 meters of the outer bar, but then would get driven massively back by a set. This happened around 10-15 times before I realized it just wasn't going to happen for me today, definitely not on my 6'3". Oh well. Beautiful sunny morning to get wet and I'm glad to cause some merriment in the car park with my doubled up mogul on my way in. The ###### looked more makeable with a shorter paddle, but no one out there. I think Sticker had the whole beach to himself this morning.
