Anyone with experience surfing Drakes Bay at Point Reyes where presumably these NW winds would be nicely offshore?
@King - Drakes Bay can be fun - *if* the winds are offshore and *if* the sand bars are just right. Its a looooooong drive, pretty sharky, and that point is a funnel for wind of any type. If you really want to try it, get on it very early in the am.
@KoK, it would also be helpful to have some S energy in the water before making the trek up there. It *is* a beautiful beach, though.
