Smlm was fun this morning. Fairly clean and mostly waist to chest high with occasional HH closeouts. Was on a log and drops were steep.

The drops were pretty steep. I took several trips over the falls today but some decent longer rides could be had by riding it in a little and catching the reform while it was working. The northern most end had the nice HH left working. Very clean.
Lots of wildlife out early too. It looks like there were fishing nets cast way out so the dolphins and seals were getting breakfast closer to shore. Beautiful morning to be out.

Yeah, I wanted to mention the fun reforms, but I was limited by Twitter. My longest ride was on a nice reform that took me right into ######.
I also saw a guy paddle out with what looked like a crab trap on the front of his longboard. He paddled way out and dropped it somewhere in front of the south parking lot. I wonder if he'll go back and retrieve it at the end of his session...

Crab trapping while surfing. That is a pretty great idea although I'm not sure of the quality of crab there by the docks. There were some fish jumping around though for sure. Where is my Pocket Fisherman when I need it?!

Holy moly. Are you sure it wasn't a basket of beer? I'll bet 15 feet down is the perfect temp for that kind of thing. Sounds like a good plan for crab + beer @ lunch.
