fair surfing conditions at San Mateo - Linda Mar

Sunday 12pm - San Mateo - Linda Mar, fair surfing

surfed the ###### from 9-11 this morning. nice right working at the far ######, but the peak was a bit crowded so headed to the next left for the last hour and a half. workable surf til around 11 when the jumbling started... glad i was in the water when i was.

It's where a number of people have had gotten hugs from their boards. :(
And by hugs I mean *OUCH* and your friend says don't look in the mirror yet until you go see a doctor :(

Eg: "Yeah brah, I was all like ka-pow, you know, over by Chalupa Reef, but then the left started firing up a Stitches, and next thing you know, I'm driving to the hospital again..."

Four of us all started calling the left across from ###### Ave "stitches" and thought it was our own joke until we all found out that each other had come up with the same nickname. Amusing coincidence. So, there it is: Stitches.
